CHATTANOOGA ITS PLAYERS GOLF LEAGUE

A tournament season will be made up of 10 games played by (4) person teams. One game per week for 10 consecutive weeks. Each machine must have the latest update with 5 main courses, each course will be played twice by each team in the order they appear on the machine starting from left to right.

Scoring will be kept by team captains & score sheet must be signed by each captain for each session of tournament play. The lowest three players scores from each team will count for each sessions scores, per team. A running total adding each weeks scores to previous total will determine the final results after all teams have completed 10 weeks play.

In case of a tie between any of the top three positions after regulation 10 weeks of play, those teams tied for first, second or third will play a one game play off at a participation location drawn for all bars participating in the league. If a tie still is in effect after the teams have played a play off game, if a tie occurs between first or second positions those teams will split the prize money for the position tied for & the next lower position. In case two teams are still tied for third place those two teams will split third place prize money.

The fees for participation in Chattanooga i.g.l. golf league is $50.00 per tournament per team for each restaurant or bar.

Player fees will be $30.00 per tournament. Players will pay for their games played in tournament play.

All C.i.g.l. games will be played on stroke play.

All monies will be secured by treasurer until the end of C.i.g.l. tournament, at which time all monies received will be dispursed to winning team captains to be distributed equally among their teams players.

A $50.00 prize will be awarded to the individual player who has scored the most hole in ones & double eagles. Both hole in ones & double eagles have the same value & each count as one.

All other prize money will be awarded to winning teams, with the first place team receiving 50%, second place team receiving 30% & third place receiving the remaining 20%.

A prize party will be held the following Sunday after the last C.i.g.l. game is played to award prize money. All teams are invited to prize party whether they have won in the last tournament or not.

Location of the prize party will be drawn from participating locations on a rotation basis with the next location drawn from the remaining locations. No location may host the prize party a second time until all locations have hosted.

Final party league locations are urged, but it is not mandatory to provide some type of food or drink at prize party. A blind draw to follow awarding of prizes.

The first awards party will be hosted by Walt’s Fireplace.

All players & location owners or mangers are urged to make suggestions a this is new to all of us.

A meeting will be held between tournament to effect rule changes & elect a board to rule on disagreement, rules & to run the league. First toster & money deadline is 7-31-04, tournament begins 8-2-04.
